Q. I heard we are not starting school on time …it this true?
A. School is scheduled to open on time, September 6th

Q. I see there is a new parking lot … how do I get in and where do I park or get dropped off?
A. Parent drop off and students with permits should now enter/exit campus from Croswell Road (not M-90) and park in the new lot on the west side of campus.

Q. How does my Mom get to the main office to drop off paperwork?
A. There are new visitor parking spaces and office access in front of the school (using the south entrance) … this is not for student drop off nor pick up

Q. What is “Pioneer Hall”?
A. Pioneer Hall is a large open space where students can come early before school and stay late to study and collaborate. It has WiFi, a school store, and access to the cafetorium.

Q. Can my grandfather walk on the new indoor running track that goes around the competition gymnasium?
A. Yes, however the new tennis courts, weight room, and indoor running track will not be completed for the first day of school. We will notify the public when these are ready.

Q. Did the schedule times change?
A. Yes, we moved the five minutes previously in third period for announcements to first period - thus announcements should now be played or read during first period - start and finish remain the same.

1st hour 8:10 – 9:25

2nd hour 9:30 – 10:40

3rd hour 10:45 – 12:30 (2 lunches)

4th hour 12:35 – 1:45

5th hour 1:50 – 3:00

Q. Can I ride my skateboard on the new Plaza behind the stadium?
A. Sorry, but for safety reasons skateboards, etc are not permitted on school grounds at any time.

Q. I heard the school locks automatically now at 8:10am to 3:00pm … how do I get in after that?
A. If an adult is signing you in please park in front (guest parking) and walk directly into main office. If you are parking in the student lot, please walk around the west side of building into the main office doors to sign in. Either way you will have to enter the main office during school hours prior to accessing the rest of the facility.

Q. Where do I park for Football Games?
A. For activities in the stadium please park in the student parking lot on the west side and access the stadium through Pioneer Hall. You may also park in the old student lot (south of the football stadium).

Q. Will my locker be the same?
A. Yes, all upper classmen lockers remain the same, and freshmen will be assigned lockers at orientation on Sept 1st.
